Caribbean Cargo DC (CCDC) takes pride in ensuring our customer shipments are delivered on time and we aim for every customer’s satisfaction. Trying to fulfill the needs of hurricane ravaged islands put a strain on our shipping vendors and the estimated 7-10 business day cargo sail time tripled. Unfortunately, we fell short of our expectations during the busy Fall 2017 season.
CCDC has been your trusted shipping partner for over 10 years. We share this Open Letter of Apology to offer our sincere apologies if you were affected in any manner. We acknowledge and regret the inconvenience you may have experienced in respect to delays in your shipments after the devastation caused by Hurricane Irma and Hurricane Maria.
Upon thorough review of the situation, we narrowed the cause as being due to irregularities in the available containers and mechanical problems with our shipping vendors. Our vendors were flooded with a large number of unexpected orders the months in the aftermath of the recent hurricanes, which led to increased delays. We have been in touch with our vendors to proactively address concerns in anticipation of 2018’s busy season.
